Elite League Champions Cardiff Devils faced Coventry Blaze in the Quarter Finals of the 2018 Playoffs over the Easter weekend. Following a 4-2 away win on Friday night, the Devils hosted the Blaze at IAW looking to make it through to the final four. Coventry gave the hosts a scare with a goal after just 34 and two further goals in the second period. In a strong third period, the Devils scored three times through Josh Batch, Matt Pope and a second of the night for Justin Faryna. The Devils now head to Nottingham for the Playoff Weekend where they face Fife Flyers in the semi final.
