The Forgotten Team

The Forgotten Team tells the story of the Wales national football team in the 1970s that reached the quarter finals of the 1976 UEFA European Championships.
The team, made up of players such as John Toshack, Brian Flynn, Leighton James and Terry Yorath, and their achievement has largely been forgotten. But the players and THAT Admiral kit have become legendary.

Building the Red Wall PtI follows the story of a handful of Welsh football fans and their journey's around the World following the football team of the 80s & 90s, through the highs and lows and how Welsh fan culture has changed and grown to what we know today.
The film was nominated in the ‘Digital Originals’ category at the 2023 RTS Cymru Awards. I worked with the film's director Greg Caine to film a number of the interviews.
